Riverfield is a new home community on the east side of Conway located just 13 miles from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The new home community of Riverfield will be developed adjacent to the Great Southern Homes new 99 single-family home community of Grissett Landing that is nearing the final stages of construction. Similar to Grissett Landing, the new home community of Riverfield will have direct access to the Waccamaw River.
Situated directly along SC Highway 905, the new home community of Riverfield will offer future residents a prime location with seamless access to the Grand Strand’s employment hubs, medical facilities, top-rated schools, retail destinations, and Myrtle Beach International Airport. The new home community of Riverfield will be ideally situated for those seeking a peaceful, suburban setting without sacrificing proximity to coastal amenities.
Riverfield is planned to include an impressive range of amenities designed to foster a sense of community and outdoor living. These amenities include a swimming pool, clubhouse, and direct access to the scenic Waccamaw River. Additional plans are also being explored for a kayak landing, creating a gateway to river exploration and an active lifestyle for residents of all ages.
Preliminary plans are showing approximately 194 single-family homes in the new home community of Riverfield.
In early 2024, Walton Global purchased two parcels off of Highway 905 in Conway – a 44.28 acre parcel and a 54.09 acre parcel.
In October of 2025, Walton Global completed the sale of the 54.09 acre parcel (what will be Phase 1 of Riverfield) to DRP GREENBOUGH 3 LLC - an entity that manages development projects for Dominion Realty Partners (DRP). DRP GREENBOUGH 3 LLC is part of a series of entities used by Dominion Realty Partners for specific real estate developments. This is a common practice in the real estate industry to separate and protect liability for individual projects. This transaction with DRP marks Phase 1 of development within the 98-acre Riverfield master plan, where Lennar ultimately plans to deliver 194 single-family homes.
