Beazer Homes is now integrating solar power into its new construction communities – with solar included in a new Ambridge home
Having solar power included in a new construction home will reduce long-term utility costs for homeowners, improve energy efficiency, and make the homes more attractive in a sustainability-focused market.
Beazer Homes is now integrating solar power into its new construction communities making solar-included or solar-ready features a major part of their product mix. Because every home is built to the Department of Energy's Zero Energy Ready Home (ZERH) standards, the underlying structures are exceptionally energy-efficient.
Beazer's solar integration approach varies depending on the community. The Beazer specific offerings in the Myrtle Beach area communities include:
Solar-Optional Builds - buyers can choose to add solar to their build or opt out, leveraging behind-the-wall pre-wiring to make future installation easy and affordable. Beazer is offering “solar options” in

and

Solar-Included Homes- solar panels come built-in to the house outright without the need for a separate third-party lease or contract. Beazer is including solar in the Ambridge community.
Ambridge
Beazer is offering “solar included” homes in their new home community of Ambridge. The solar panel package in Ambridge is including the Yukon solar panel manufactured by SEG Solar. The Yukon N series is the SEG flagship line, featuring advanced N-type TOPCon bifacial and monofacial technologies. These panels are known for (1) High Efficiency - yielding conversion efficiencies over 23% in some models, (2) Low Degradation - engineered to minimize power loss over time, frequently backed by a 30-year performance warranty and (3) Black Diamond Options - all-black designs are available for a sleek, aesthetic look. The Ambridge home comes included with 8 of these solar panels - producing an estimated total of 3.52 kW.
For energy storage, Beazer Homes is offering the Tesla Powerwall 3, with the ability to install up to four batteries per home. The Tesla Powerwall 3 is a fully integrated solar and battery system, designed to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy. The Powerwall 3 supports up to 20 kW DC of solar and providing 11.5 kW AC of continuous power per unit. The Tesla Powerwall 3 has the ability to start heavy loads up to 150 A LRA, meaning a single unit can support the power needs of most homes.
Ambridge is a new home community in Conway, SC that began presales in September of 2025. Beazer Homes is building 173 single-family homes in the new home community of Ambridge on an approximate 82 acre piece of property right off of McKinley Shortcut Road. The new home community of Ambridge in Conway is being developed near the intersection of Highway 905 and Highway 22.
Beazer is offering five different single-family home plans in the new home community of Ambridge in Conway:
